FORMAT:

Guests are welcomed and encouraged to join in discussions. Format/Retailer information/programme sheets are placed on chairs. Hair / Cosmetic retailers are introduced and give a brief rundown of what they are about to create. This will continue between other interviews.

 

For the fashion segments, the Store or Department Manager is interviewed by the MC as the garments are modelled by live models. This allows them to speak directly to the customer about their product on a personal level.

This allows them.... to SELL !!

The Store or Area Managers face becomes familiar, encouraging the customer to make a purchase or visit a store they may not generally visit. The inclusion of a discount or gift with purchase offer to customers attending the workshop is also very viable to encourage sales.

 

Accessories can be added Ďon the spotí demonstrating the different styles that can be created from the same garment.† Accessory / Footwear / Handbag / Optical stores can be encouraged to participate with a complete segment. There is no limitation to fashion / beauty / health retailers participating. These stores therefore gain more focus and exposure than a runway parade generally can allow.

 

When the segment is completed, the store managers are encouraged, if time restraints allow, to remain until the conclusion of the workshop to maximise the merchandising of the product or store and become familiar with new customers.

 

When the interviews are completed, we go back to the practical demonstrations to see the final result of Cosmetic / Hair makeovers. This then flows on to wrap up the session. Retailers and customers are encouraged to mingle at the completion of the workshop for an informal chat or personal styling service.

Generally, the workshop gives the customer a feeling of being involved in the fashion and beauty dynamics of their local centre, while giving the opportunity of participating in practical demonstrations in a bright, professional, yet informal way.†
